family is invited to worship with us at Faith at our weekly Lenten service this Wednesday, March 19th
at 7:00 p.m. You are also invited to join us at 6:00 p.m. prior to the
service for our soup supper potluck. You may bring a soup, salad, or other dish
to pass, or just come hungry. Please join us for this enjoyable pre-worship
fellowship!
Pennies
for Patients continues through March 27th. Pennies
for Patients is a program to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma
Society by collecting spare change. Every little bit helps! Please support the
students in this opportunity to use our gifts to serve others.

Begin your day
with the students of Faith Lutheran as we worship the Lord together. Families
and friends are invited to come join us in starting our day with our Lord.
PTF hot lunch this
Thursday is sloppy joes, chips, veggies, fruit and dessert. Please return the
attached slip attched to the Monday note if your child wishes to purchase a lunch.
Parents, Teachers
and Friends will be meeting this Tuesday, March 18th from 6:30 to
7:30 p.m. On
the agenda are Kids’ Day and various other things. Please contact PTF president Mary Klebs if you
have any questions.
Report cards for
third quarter will be sent home with the students this Friday, March 21st.
Co-ed indoor soccer practices this Tuesday, March
18th and Thursday, March 20th from 4 to 5:45 p.m. at St.
John’s United Methodist Church. The team will play another round of rally games on
Friday, March 21st at Lumen Christi from 4 to 7 p.m. You are invited to
come and cheer the Huskies on!
Toddler Time is an hour of
educational activities, structured play and a snack for children ages 0-5 and
their caregivers. Toddler Time meets on Wednesdays from 10-11 a.m. in the Faith
fellowship hall. For more information contact Mrs. Cara Ewings at 792-9388.
Grades 6-8 will be attending the Alaska Junior Theater
musical presentation Black Violin on Wednesday, March 19th at 10:15
a.m. at the PAC. Students
are asked to return their permission slips to attend the performance by Tuesday
afternoon.
Mr. Schneck has two extra tickets available. Any school parents
that would like to join us as a chaperones are welcome. (You don’t have to have a child in grades 6-8 to participate.)Please
see Mr. Schneck if you are interested.
