Practices for Track (boys and girls, grades 4-8)
continue this Tuesday, April 22nd and Thursday, April 24th.
Practice will be
from 4-5:30 p.m. at Cuddy Family Park (by the Loussac Library).
The
Faith Invitational Track meet is scheduled for Saturday, April 26th
at Wendler Middle School. Track team members should be at the Wendler track by
9:00 a.m. to warm up. PARENTS AND FRIENDS: WE NEED VOLUNTEERS TO HELP RUN THE
EVENTS AND SCORING. Please help if you can. See Mr. Zarnstorff if you are
available to help us out.
The ACSAA State Meet is scheduled for
Saturday, May 3rd.

Are you interested
in our Preschool or Kindergarten programs? Do you have family or friends that
might be? This
week there will be several opportunities to see what Faith Lutheran early
childhood programs have to offer.
On Wednesday, April
23rd from 4:00-5:30 p.m. Mrs. Schneck will hold a Kindergarten
Roundup Open House, and Miss Wendland will be holding two Preschool Open
House opportunities on Wednesday,
April 23rd from 5:30 to 7:00
p.m. and on Saturday, April 26th from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon. Parents interested in our programs can bring
their children in to experience the classrooms firsthand, find out about the
curriculum, and get their questions answered.

We are gearing up
for our school musical, Are We There Yet , coming up on May 2nd. (See the
attached flyer.) There will be a sets, costumes, and props work night this
Thursday, April 24th from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. for any parents and
friends available to help us out. Any assistance you can give us is
appreciated. Please contact Mrs. Schneck if you are able to help.
A costuming note
went home last Thursday. Students need to bring $2 for their t-shirt if they have
not already done so. Also, the shorts worn under their costumes should be
black. The sashes can be any color (something that goes with their shirt). See Mrs.
Schneck if you have any questions.

There will be a work
day at Camp Luther Alaska in Wasilla this Saturday, April 26th. Do your children and
family make use of Camp Luther’s programs and facilities? This is a great
opportunity to help us out by giving back. Both “skilled” and “unskilled” labor
is needed. We have some roof and step repair that is especially urgent. Can you
give us a hand? Please contact Fred or Stacey Koenig if you would like to help
out.

The Junior Choir
will be singing at King of Kings in Wasilla this Sunday, April 27th
at their 10:30 a.m. service. Students should be at the church by 10:10
a.m. to prepare. If your child will need a ride, please contact Mrs. Schneck.
Following the
service the Junior Choir will be heading out to Camp Luther for a picnic before
returning to Anchorage. Parents and family are welcome to join the picnic. Students that are
riding with Mrs. Schneck will return to Faith around 1:30 p.m.

Toddler Time is an hour of
educational activities, structured play and a snack for children ages 0-5 and
their caregivers. Toddler Time meets on
Wednesdays from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. in the Faith fellowship hall. There will
also be a special Saturday Toddler Time this Saturday, April 26th
from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. For more information please contact Mrs. Cara
