Parent Connection February 22nd

Thank you to the teachers, parents, and youth who helped to set up, run, and clean up at our Family Art Night on Friday, as well as to the families that participated. Special thanks to PTF for the refreshments!

Co-Ed Indoor Soccer practices this week on Tuesday, February 23^rd and Thursday, February 24^th from 5:30-7:00 p.m. at Taku Lake Elementary. There will be Soccer Rally games on Friday, February 26^th from 4-8 p.m. at Lumen Christi.

The students of grades 3-5 will be visiting the Loussac Library this Wednesday, February 24^th. Students are reminded to bring their library cards and any books that are due.

Junior Choir meets this week on Wednesday, February 24^th at 12:20 p.m.

Grades K-2 will be visiting the YMCA for swimming on Wednesday, February 24^th from 1:45 to 3:00 p.m. Grades 3-8 will be visiting the YMCA for swimming on Friday, February 26^th from 1:45-3:00 p.m.

Students are asked to remember their swimming suits and towels, and grades K-2 are reminded to bring their car seats on Wednesday!

The school family is invited to join the Faith Lutheran Church family for Lenten worship on Wednesday, February 24^th at 7:00 p.m.

You are also invited to join us for soup supper prior to worship at 6:00 p.m. Bring your favorite soup or salad to share. Bread or desserts are also welcome.  Don’t worry if you are unable to bring anything, come and join us anyway! We look forward to seeing you there.

You are invited to join us for our weekly school chapel service this Thursday, February 25^th, from 8:30 to 9:00 a.m. Families and friends are invited to come and join us in starting our day with the Lord! The Junior Choir will be singing for this chapel service.

Handchime choir meets this week on Thursday, February 25^th at 12:30 p.m.

Toddler Time is an hour of educational activities, structured play and a snack for children ages 0-5 and their caregivers. Toddler Time meets Wednesdays from 10-11 a.m. in the Faith fellowship hall. For more information contact Mrs. Cara Ewings at
