Chapel Service
You are invited to join us for our weekly chapel service
this Thursday, September 18th, from 8:30 to 9:00 a.m. This week
Pastor Ewings will be leading our worship. This week’s message: Living
for Jesus Means Having Patience (Job). Our mission offerings this year will
be donated to our synods work with gospel ministry in India, particularly to
children. Families and friends are invited to come join us in starting our day
with the Lord.
The Handchime Choir will be playing for chapel this week. Choir members should be at school and in the church by 8:15 a.m. to
prepare.
SPIRIT DAYS THIS WEEK!
No uniforms on Wednesday and Thursday! Wednesday, Thursday
and Friday this week are SPIRIT DAYS!
Have
fun and show your school spirit and cheer on the Cross Country team as they
prepare for their meet this Saturday.

Wear
the craziest tie you can find, or design your own to wear!
Thursday,
Sept. 18th – Sports Uniform Day
Wear
a uniform from a sport you play, or the jersey or colors of your favorite
sports team!
Friday
– Sept.19th –Teal and Gold Day
Wear
our school colors with pride!
Hot Lunch this week!
There
will be a hot lunch available this Thursday, September 18th. On the
menu – Frito Pie!

Parents’ Night Out
Friday,
September 19th from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Drop off the kids to enjoy
some time with friends while Mom and Dad take some time for themselves. This
PNO will be bikes and scooters (weather permitting). Kids can bring their
wheels and ride in the lot. HELMETS REQUIRED FOR BIKES AND SCOOTERS. Children
will not be allowed to share helmets, so make sure to bring your own!
There
is no cost, but free will donations will be accepted to support PTF activities.

Cross Country Running
Meets Tuesday,
September 16th and Thursday September 18th this
week. Practice Tuesday will again be
Bonny Sosa Tuesday Night Races at Kincaid, 6:30 start time. Practice Thursday will be from 4-5:30 p.m.
The state cross-country meet will be held this Saturday,
September 20th at Eagle River Lions Park. The meet starts at 10:00 a.m. Students should
be at the park by 9:45 a.m. to warm up. Mr. Zarnstorff will be
leaving the Faith parking lot at 9:15 a.m. if any runners would like to ride
with him. Go Huskies!
Boys’ and Girls’ Basketball (grades 5-8) will begin
Tuesday, September 23rd .
Basketball is open to
students in grades 5-8. Please sign up on the bulletin board in the school
hallway. Permission slips will be sent home with interested students this week.
We can also use some coaching assistance if there are parents interested in helping
us out. Parents, please speak to Mr. Zarnstorff if you have any questions or
are willing to help.

School “Night at the Museum” Social Studies Fair will be held on Friday,
October 10th!
Students
in grades 3-8 should be working on their projects and should already have told
their teachers what their topic is. Grades 1-2 will be working on a group
project together in their classroom. Kindergarten will be working on projects
at their level.
