Parent Connection October 20th Issue #10

Chapel Service
You are invited to join us for our weekly chapel service this Thursday, October 23rd, from 8:30 to 9:00 a.m. Our chapel service message will be presented by Missionary Doug Weiser. Pastor Weiser serves as a missionary in Nigeria. Following the service he will present a brief video presentation on the mission work being done there. Families and friends are invited to come join us in starting our day with the Lord.
For the next two chapel services we will continue to collect our mission offerings for a special project for Nigeria. This special collection will be combined with mission offerings from Grace Lutheran School in Kenai and the offering at our area Reformation service on October 26th for the purchase of a motorcycle for the Nigerian pastors to use when visiting mission stations in the bush, as roads are often difficult or impassable at certain times of the year. Please remember our brother and sister believers in Nigeria in your prayers.

Handchime Choir will play for the chapel service on Thursday, October 23rd. Handchime choir members will meet in the church to practice before chapel at 8:18 a.m.
